SportJarrett continues swift riseAdrian Curtis|Evening Standard14 April 2012Youngster Albert Jarrett aims to earn a regular place in the Wimbledon team after making his debut in the midweek Carling Cup defeat by Wycombe.Jarrett's first appearance in Dons' colours came less than a year after he left Dulwich Hamlet's youth team. The 18-year-old midfielder came on as a second half substitute in the 2-0 defeat by Wanderers and wants to build on his swift rise after being plucked from obscurity by manager Stuart Murdoch.Jarrett said: "The last few months have been brilliant. I've got confidence in my ability, but I am surprised to be in the first-team set-up so quickly."The standard at Wimbledon was obviously much higher than at Dulwich. Stuart Murdoch has told me just to keep doing the things that have got me this far and I just want to keep improving."The Dons have no new injury worries ahead of their trip to Stoke. Midfielder Michael Hughes, who trained with Wimbledon last year during a contract dispute with Birmingham, has signed a one-year deal with Crystal Palace.MORE ABOUTDulwichSouthwarkYoung People
