"We maybe could do with a drop of rain. He looks magnificent. We are taking it one day at a time. If he gets there, he'll be 100 per cent."
Meanwhile, Kieren Fallon today revealed that he would not ride at a meeting this weekend after speculation that he would appear before his 21-day ban starts next week.
In racing's other scandal, jockey Sean Fox, who was also found guilty of failing to give his horse every possible chance of gaining the best position, looks likely to appeal against his 21-day ban.
Fox was seen on television pictures appearing to jump off his mount Ice Saint at Fontwell yesterday amid claims that there was a £100,000 betting scam on the horse to lose the race with the exchange group Betfair. There were also claims that an anonymous source tipped off The Sun newspaper that the horse would lose.
