Inter lifted by return of Adriano

Inter Milan are looking to Adriano to inspire an unlikely comeback in their Champions League quarter-final against AC Milan tonight.

Roberto Mancini's side must overturn last week's 2-0 defeat to their Milan neighbours and their prospects have been boosted by the Brazilian's return from a knee injury.

Adriano is largely responsible for Inter's presence in the quarterfinals, his hat-trick seeing off Porto in the previous round.

The 23-year-old has scored 14 goals for Inter this season and will partner Obafemi Martins up front. Paolo Maldini could be back from a thigh injury for AC Milan.
