Chris DiMarco (35) Ryder Cups: rookie Got in the side at the last moment. He has that funny claw grip on the putter.
Fred Funk (48) Ryder Cups: rookie The best driver of the ball in America and has been for years.
Jim Furyk (34) Ryder Cups: 3 (W3 L6 H2) He is recovering from injury and seems to have recovered his game at the same time.
Jay Haas (50) Ryder Cups: 2 (W3 L4 H1) Lost against Philip Walton at Oak Hill in '95 and that cost America the Cup. Has something to prove.
Davis Love III (40) Ryder Cups: 5 (W8 L9 H4) You feel he has the game to win every week. Potentially their best player.
Phil Mickelson (34) Ryder Cups: 4 (W8 L5 H3) A great golfer and has been a transformed player since winning the Masters, his first major.
Kenny Perry (44) Ryder Cups: rookie Very dependable. A straight hitter. They have a few players like Perry in their side.
Chris Riley (30) Ryder Cups: rookie A steady player but a great putter.
David Toms (37) Ryder Cups: 1 (W3 L1 H1) Not as good as he once was. He was a better player going into the last match at The Belfry.
Tiger Woods (28) Ryder Cups: 3 (W5 L8 H2) Still a great golfer despite losing his No1 ranking. Without tempting fate you would think he has something to prove.
