Henry set for Gunners comeback

Thierry Henry was given an FA Cup Final lifeline today when he was named in the squad for tomorrow night's clash with Everton.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feared a groin injury would force the club's leading scorer to miss the showdown with Manchester United at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday week.

But after intensive treatment on the injury that has kept Henry out since the beginning of April, Wenger was able to name him in the squad for the club's final home match of the season.

Wenger said today: "He will not start the game, but he is in the squad."

Wenger will probably give Henry a 20-minute run-out tomorrow and if he comes through that test then he is a major contender to start in the final league match of the season at Birmingham on Sunday.

However, midfielder Freddie Ljungberg's chances of making the Cup Final look bleak after he was left out of the squad due to a hip injury. Wenger also hinted that Sol Campbell, among the substitutes because of the form of young Philippe Senderos, will also play first-team football before the final.

Centre-half Campbell has not played for the first team since he was injured against Manchester United in February.

Everton have injury worries over midfielder Tim Cahill (back) and defender Tony Hibbert (knee).
