Henman waits to find the route back to elite group

Great Britain will find out today in Madrid who they need to beat to get another crack at joining the 16-nation Davis Cup world elite, having lost to Austria and ended back in the Euro-Africa group.

Tim Henman and Co are almost certain to be among the four seeded teams in the 10-team group and that would mean a bye in the February series of first round games and a return in July against one of the winners.

A tie against Zimbabwe, Israel or Serbia and Montenegro would raise security fears.
