Hair-raising time against Russian Seaman

Arsenal's progress in the Champions League could rest on the shoulders of a goalkeeper nicknamed Son of Seaman.

Arsene Wenger's side need a win tonight after losing 3-0 to Internazionale at Highbury two weeks ago. But to get that victory they will have to beat Russia international Sergei Ovchinnikov, who has been compared with David Seaman in his prime. Lokomotiv players and fans have made the link with the former Arsenal and England star because of Ovchinnikov's reliability and the long hair the 32-year-old keeps in a pony-tail.

Team-mate Jacob Lekcetho said: "He looks like Seaman but he might be taller. I think it is a compliment that Sergei has been compared to him. Seaman is more experienced but Ovchinnikov has played in Portugal for Porto and they both have pony-tails of course."

Thierry Henry should get chances to test the Lokomotiv goalkeeper as the Moscow side admit they find it difficult in the Champions League.

They lost their first Group B game against Dynamo Kiev 2-0 and will be without Costa Rican striker Winston Parks (knee) and South African defender Lekcetho (suspended).

Lokomotiv, who are third in the Russian Premier League, expect a 30,000 sell-out crowd for the game - but no repeat of the scenes which marred Arsenal's draw against Manchester United last week.
