Grzegorz Rasiak's transfer to Watford stalls

Grzegorz Rasiak's move from Southampton to Watford is on the verge of collapse as the clubs cannot agree on a fee.

Watford had hoped to sign the Polish striker — who has been on loan at Vicarage Road — in a cut-price deal following Saints' relegation from the Championship.

But Southampton are still pricing him in the region of £700,000 — a figure Watford cannot afford.

The 30-year-old former Tottenham striker has scored eight goals in 21 games this season.
