The Swede, who had been due to watch Wimbledon's FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough last night, is nevertheless expected to be back for England's friendly in Holland on 13 February.
FA spokesman Adrian Bevington said: "Tord is still in hospital under observation. He is being monitored and we are waiting to see how that progresses over the course of the day to see when he will be discharged.
"He is feeling well within himself. He has been in contact with the office and we would again stress that this is not serious.
"We will await Tord's discharge from hospital before making any final decisions with him as to his immediate diary."
