"I cannot believe that the law says the board should sell the business if Mr Glazer bids a high enough price. If that's what the law says, it's an ass. It means Manchester United could become the next Leeds United."
Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand's agent Pini Zahavi has admitted the Manchester United has a long-standing ambition to play abroad.
Ferdinand is in negotitaions with United about a new £90,000-aweek, five-year deal but Zahavi says he has no intention of joining Chelsea if talks fail. Instead, he says, he would head abroad.
Zahavi said: "He wants to stay at United and the idea is to extend his present deal by another three years.
"If he doesn't sign a new deal he will leave in two years to play abroad, which has always been one of his ambitions.
"But I think he will stay providing the conditions are right."
Morten Gamst Pedersen insists Blackburn have nothing to fear against Arsenal in Saturday's FA Cup semi-final.
"We have played well recently in big games against Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton," Pedersen said. "We've nothing to lose and we've nothing to fear."
