SportGB look handy performersGiles Lucas13 April 2012Great Britain's women's handball team have qualified for the group stage of the 2012 European Championships.Two victories over Finland in a pre-group qualifier at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre at the weekend sealed their spot.Two years ago Britain reached the same stage but finished bottom of their group and they know they face a daunting challenge this time round.Only the top two will progress to the finals in Holland in December and Britain must overcome Montenegro, Poland and Russia.Head coach Jesper Holmris said: "Russia and Montenegro are two of the top teams in the world.
