Freddie on way back in Wenger reshuffle

Arsene Wenger is set to reshuffle his team to ensure they maintain the momentum that has taken them to the top of the Premiership with a 100 per cent record from their first five games.

Wenger believes he has the strongest and most versatile squad in his eight years at Highbury and plans to make full use of it as matches come thick and fast.

Freddie Ljungberg and Edu are likely to return against Bolton at Highbury on Saturday with Dennis Bergkamp and Gilberto Silva making way.

Ljungberg was ruled out of the Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday night because of a back injury.

His recovery will enable Wenger to rest Bergkamp, who, at 35, is unsuited to three demanding games inside a week. He was involved at Fulham and against PSV and could now be among the substitutes on Saturday.

Ljungberg's return will give Jose Reyes another chance to show his flexibility. Against PSV, he played on the left of midfield but, with Ljungberg coming into the midfield on Saturday, the Spaniard will cover for Bergkamp behind Thierry Henry.
