West Ham remained in the top four of the Premier League and moved level on points with Manchester City after hammering Aston Villa 4-1 on Sunday.

Simon Collings was at Villa Park to rate the Hammers players...

Lukasz Fabianski - 6

Couldn’t do much about the Aston Villa goal. Other than that he had a quiet afternoon. Made a good save to deny Ollie Watkins in the second-half.

Ben Johnson - 8

Picked to start ahead of Vladimir Coufal and justified his selection. Took his goal really well and defensively he was solid too.

Kurt Zouma - 7

The Frenchman has been an excellent signing for the Hammers and he was good again today. Commanding in the air.

Angelo Ogbonna - 7

His partnership with Zouma is getting better with every game they play together. Other than the goal, managed to keep Watkins fairly quiet.

Aaron Cresswell - 7

The definition of a solid display from the left-back. Didn’t have the chance to get forward as much as he’d like, but defensively he was good.

Tomas Soucek - 7

Has formed a strong partnership with Rice and did a lot of heavy lifting today. Broke up play nicely and only complaint was he occasionally made poor decisions in the final third.

Declan Rice - 8 | Star man

What more can we say about the midfielder? Another commanding performance in the middle of the park and he scored the winner too.

Jarrod Bowen - 8

A few openings and half chances, but didn’t really come alive until late on in the game. Played a key role in third goal before scoring the fourth.

Pablo Fornals - 8

Started in the No10 role before finishing the game out on the left flank. Worked incredibly hard and was rewarded with a goal late on.

Said Benrahma - 6

A couple of nice moments from the Algerian, who was deployed out left. Final ball was lacking on occasion and was taken off just after the hour mark.

Michail Antonio - 7

Didn’t have many chances, but he worked really hard for the team. Pressed all afternoon and his link-play with midfield was good - as shown by his role in the third and fourth goals.
