Scott McTominay and Luke Shaw start for Manchester United vs Bournemouth

Scott McTominay starts for Manchester United against Bournemouth tonight as Jose Mourinho seeks an answer to his midfield problems.

With Paul Pogba suspended, Michael Carrick working on his fitness following a heart procedure and Marouane Fellaini's future uncertain, Mourinho handed the 21-year-old his second Premier League start for the club against Eddie Howe's Cherries on Wednesday night.

The midfielder - who had a stunning growth spurt from just 5'6" at the start of 2015 to 6'4" - has made three appearances in the Champions League for United so far this season.

Phil Jones returns in defence while Luke Shaw has also been handed a rare chance to impress at left-back with Ashley Young rested, with Juan Mata back alongside Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku in attack.
