Rosler draws on positives

Uwe Rosler had nothing but praise for his Brentford side, even after they succumbed to a late equaliser from Colchester, who had been reduced to 10 men.

"I'm not disappointed because today was about the performance," said the Bees manager after the 1-1 draw.

"We had 11 performers and in the first half we played absolutely magnificent football - the best we've played - both offensively and defensively."

After a stuttering draw against Aldershot on Saturday, AFC Wimbledon were painfully exposed by Northampton as they lost 3-0 at home.

Manager Terry Brown had few positives about his team's attacking performance after they failed to score despite playing the second half against 10 men. "We wouldn't have scored if the game had carried on for hours," he said after the match.

Charlie Taylor made his first start of the season as Barnet faced struggling Plymouth but it was his in-form strike partner Izale McLeod who was first on the scoresheet.
