“It was a tough time in the media and from the outside before his move but he was perfectly fine and very excited to start his new chapter at Manchester City.”

England have already qualified for Euro 2016 and Hart is looking forward to making an impact in France next summer.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper is in the best form of his career, with Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon even claiming there hasn’t been a better No1 in world football over the last two years.
Hart was dropped by City coach Manuel Pellegrini in 2013 after a number of high-profile mistakes but Buffon praised him for the way he bounced back.
When asked if he now sees being axed as a blessing in disguise, England’s No1 added: “I don’t know how to look at it. It was difficult at the time but football doesn’t revolve around me. I needed to use the time I was given to reassess and put myself ready to get back in the team. I have done that and felt good since.
“Buffon is a keeper I respect and I was flattered by his words. He has played for a long time and is still right at the top of his game.
“Is it an ambition to be known as one of the greats? I just want to keep playing for England and City, where that ranks me in people’s opinions we will see.”
