Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has said it is not his right to discuss if Tottenham will be relegated from the Premier League.

A brace from Ismaila Sarr and a strike from Jorgen Strand Larsen left Palace in cruise control before half time and they saw the result out in the second half to leave Spurs a single point above the bottom three.

A half-empty stadium told the whole story at full-time from a Tottenham perspective and in his post-match press conference, Glasner was asked if Spurs give him the sense of a side on the brink of relegation.

“It’s not my right to talk about Spurs,” Glasner replied.

“I talk about my team, about my players and for us it’s a great win here because I remember when we started with our second game we won 3-0 against Burnley at home two years ago.

“Then we played here and lost 3-1 and we, to be honest, had no chance to win even though we took the lead through Eberechi Eze’s free-kick.

“They were so much better than us and I see the last two games here, we have won.

“We lost at home 1-0 but I think in this game we were better than they were and I think this is just the development and the progression of Crystal Palace and that is what I am looking at.”
