Nicky Forster boost for Charlton

Nicky Forster shows no sign of slowing down his scoring rate, even at 36, which will be a huge boost for Charlton in the League One promotion run-in.

With 16 goals already for Brighton, Forster has linked up again with Phil Parkinson ahead of Thursday's deadline.

Charlton were in danger of fading away from the automatic places, drawing 1-1 at Huddersfield, but Forster said: "I knew Phil for a number of years at Reading and he took me to Hull.

"I haven't been playing of late and this gives me the chance to earn something for next season."
