Lloyd Doyley: Watford are not soft

Lloyd Doyley today accused Sheffield United of violent intent during their 3-0 loss to Watford.

Former Watford players Darius Henderson and Lee Williamson were rightly sent off for shocking challenges on Lee Hodson and Doyley respectively.

Full-back Hodson was left needing hospital treatment and Doyley believes United's players were told to go in hard.

He said: "I think they came here to rough us up a little. They probably thought 'Watford are a soft touch' but we weren't."
