“You’ve always got to beat the teams around you,” said midfielder Richardson. “They are the games you have to pick up points from. So the next three games are very important for us but they are all winnable. Norwich is a must-win game.”
Fulham have been much improved since Rene Meulensteen replaced Martin Jol and Richardson says the head coach has brought “fire back into the belly” of the players.
“You can see by the way we are playing at the moment, with confidence, it is only a matter of time before we start picking up results,” he said. “We are going in the right direction, that is there for the supporters and everyone to see.
“When the manager brings players in who have not been playing it brings the fire back in your belly. He works us hard in training and if you train well you will bring that onto the pitch.”
