Injury-hit Spurs could be without entire team

Tottenham have an injury crisis with an entire team potentially ruled out of tomorrow's match against Blackburn at White Hart Lane.

David Bentley (calf), Roman Pavlyuchenko (back) and Tom Huddlestone (ankle) all picked up knocks against Sunderland on Tuesday and are now major doubts.

"They are all struggling," assistant boss Kevin Bond said today.

"We'll have to wait until tomorrow to see how they all are. We've got a long injury list. Eleven of the first-team squad are either out or unlikely to be fit for the weekend. We're struggling at the moment."

Aaron Lennon (hamstring) and Robbie Keane (ankle) remain unlikely to feature while Michael Dawson (ligament), Ledley King (groin) and Jermain Defoe (ankle) are still ruled out. Jamie O'Hara (back), Giovani and Jonathan Woodgate (both groin) are also injured leaving Harry Redknapp with a major headache.

Meanwhile, the Spurs boss admitted Huddlestone was fortunate to avoid punishment from the Football Association after the midfielder stamped on Johan Elmander during the 4-2 defeat at Bolton last weekend.

Redknapp today revealed that he will speak to the midfielder about his on-field conduct.

Huddlestone was also cleared of any wrongdoing when he appeared to elbow FC Twente's Marc Janko in Spurs' 4-1 Champions League win at White Hart Lane last month.

"Tom is not an aggressive player by any stretch of the imagination but that is the second time he has got away with a challenge like that and I will have a word with him about it," Redknapp told The Sun.
