FIFA 18 demo release date, features, teams and more

The new season has started, deadline day has come and gone, and the international break is upon us.

There is a strange lull around this time of year as the domestic campaign pauses just as it was finding its rhythm.

But fear not, football fans, FIFA 18 is just around the corner. Again powered by the impressive Frostbite technology which was introduced last year, the game is now fronted by Ballon d'Or holder Cristiano Ronaldo.

It will bring the latest chapter in Alex Hunter's Journey and more authentic atmospheres, while team styles such as tiki-taka and the gegenpress have been reproduced on the virtual pitch.

All this while the new Real Player Motion Technology means Fifa 18 will capture the personalities of your favourite players like never before.

Can't wait for the full game to be released on September 29? EA Sports will be pushing out a demo two weeks before the game's official arrival so you can get up to speed ahead of time.

What platforms is the game available on?

FIFA 18 will be released on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro, while it will also be up for sale on the standard Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms. A version of the game will also launch on Nintendo Switch, though it will be missing key features, such as The Journey and the Frostbite game engine.
