Last term, the 60-year-old became only the third manager in West Ham history to lift major silverware, ending a drought that had run since the 1980 FA Cup success.
However, some supporters have been frustrated by the cautious style of football on display and a ‘Moyes Out’ banner was hung in the away end at last weekend’s 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
Moyes has repeatedly insisted that the lack of clarity is not to blame for the club’s downturn in form and says he is happy to wait until the summer to make a decision on his future.
“I’ve got to make sure that I think it’s the right thing for the club, got to make sure I think it’s the right thing for me and my family,” Moyes said.
“At the moment, I’ve spoken to the board, I get on really well with them. I’ve had a fabulous four years. We’ve been talking about Europe and how you get to Europe in the first place is by being successful in the league. We’ll sort it out but I’m happy for it to wait.”
