Brentford's Judge won’t be swayed

Brentford midfielder Alan Judge has played down talk of a call-up to the Republic of Ireland.

Judge scored twice against Notts County on Saturday in front of watching Ireland manager Martin O’Neill. But, ahead of tonight’s home game against Crawley, the 25-year-old said: “A few people told me Martin was in the crowd but I will just concentrate on what I am doing.

“Of course it is an ambition of mine to play for my country but I do not think he is looking at players below the Championship, which is fair enough.”

Brentford, second in League One, will move three points behind leaders Wolves with a win at Griffin Park tonight.
