Bayern Munich have reportedly opened talks with Newcastle United over a summer move for Anthony Gordon.
The winger has been at St James’ Park since January 2023, when he signed from Everton for a total £45million package.
Since then, he has notched 39 goals in 152 games for the Magpies.
Now, after a season where he has hit six goals and added two assists in 26 Premier League games, he could be set for a switch to the Bundesliga, according to Sky Sports.
Bayern, who currently have England’s No9 Harry Kane as their centre-forward, are interested in Gordon’s services and have had the forward on their watchlist since the new year.

Vincent Kompany has led die Bayern to another Bundesliga title in his first term in charge at the Allianz Arena, but he saw his side knocked out in the semi-finals of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain, who will face Arsenal - another side Gordon has been linked with - in the final.
Bayern raided Crystal Palace to sign Michael Olise last summer, and they also brought in Luis Diaz and Nicolas Jackson from the Premier League.
Now, with Jackson set to return to England at the end of his loan spell, they are back in the market for a versatile forward, and Gordon could be the man they move for.
It is believed that Newcastle are open to offers for their No10, and it was reported that Gordon’s agents were pictured in Barcelona in recent days, although there is no indication that Barca have held talks with the Magpies over the winger.
