Standard Sport assesses the individual performances from Argentina's 1-0 victory over Belgium in Brasilia.
Gonzalo Higuain put the Argentines in front with a brilliantly taken volley in the eighth minute, and he nearly doubled the lead when he hit the bar in the second half.
Belgium huffed and puffed but could not create any meaningful chances, with Chelsea’s Eden Hazard again disappointing before being substituted.
Argentina advance to the semi-final, where they will play the winner of tonight’s clash between Netherlands and Costa Rica on Wednesday.
