Another bad break for Sunderland No1

Sunderland keeper Craig Gordon has broken his left arm for the second time in a year and will miss the start of the season.

"He was just throwing himself about in warm-up when he hurt himself," said Sunderland assistant manager Eric Black today.

The 27-year-old, who has just had a hernia operation, had surgery on the arm he first broke clashing with Spurs' Jermain Defoe last November.
