Flu hits Calzaghe defence

Joe Calzaghe today postponed his 14th defence of the WBO world supermiddleweight title after succumbing to a bout of flu.

The Welshman, who was to have fought Mger Mkrtchian of Armenia at the National Ice Rink in Cardiff on 6 December, said: "I'm bitterly disappointed. I have taken the advice of my physician and withdrawn."
