"Kris Kin doesn't give you much feel at home and we would be worried if he started to work well," he added.
"At the moment it would be too fast for him, but he feels good in himself and he's a great ride provided it rains or they put plenty of water on."
Nick Cheyne, Ascot's clerk of the course, today described the ground as good to firm with some good patches and was planning to add to the 6mm of water which was put on the track yesterday.
Fallon said: "I'm going to appeal as I've done nothing wrong but I'm going to miss two days of Goodwood," he said.
