Errant Knights still on course

London Knights require one point from their last two Challenge Cup games to be certain of qualification for the semi-finals after last night's 3-2 defeat by Nottingham Panthers at the National Ice Centre.

Having led twice - through a Kim Ahlroos penalty shot and Dennis Maxwell's first goal for the club - Knights will be confident of reaching the next round when the sides meet again in London on Sunday.

Former London player Barry Nieckar sealed the win for Panthers.
