England players fired up by fan mail

If the England players need any more inspiration when facing Australia this weekend, they need only remember the overwhelming messages of support they received leading up to the third Test.

And England cricketers Graeme Swann, Alastair Cook, Ravi Bopara and Stuart Broad are calling on fans to roar them to victory at Edgbaston today.

England narrowly lead the Aussies following the historic victory at Lord's but the players are encouraging their twelfth man' to help them on in the npower remaining Tests.

Mayor Boris Johnson also emphatically urged England to "bring home the bacon this summer", and Stephen Fry echoed the sentiments of the nation when he warned the England team, "my entire happiness depends on what you do this summer".
