Didier Drogba has urged Chelsea to finish off Juventus by establishing a four-goal winning margin for their Champions League return leg in Turin.

After Arsenal failed to capitalise on a dominant home display to score more than once against Roma last night, the Blues striker has set his sights on an emphatic victory in tonight's knock-out round first leg at Stamford Bridge against the team managed by former Chelsea boss, Claudio Ranieri. Drogba said: "I can't wait for the tie to kick-off as I'm hungry to cross swords with Juventus.

"I just don't agree with those saying we've got a handicap in playing at home first. Not me, I'm up for it. Why can't we go out there and prove the theory wrong by sticking four past Juve? If we could do that then the return leg in Turin would immediately be a less daunting task."

Drogba, who was sent off against Manchester United in last season's Champions League final, admits the draw could have been kinder to Chelsea.

However, in the wake of Guus Hiddink's arrival at Stamford Bridge, he insists the team should have nothing to fear.

He added: "I'd have liked Chelsea to draw Panathinaikos or maybe Porto but nothing comes easy in the Champions League.

"I can assure the Chelsea fans, however, that there is a real hunger within our group of players to succeed this time where we failed last season."

Midfielder Frank Lampard also underlined the players' determination to make up for the disappointment of losing last May's final on penalties.

He said: "There's an added incentive because of the manner in which we came so close last year. You can't but help having that in the back of your mind after what happened.

"You want to go back and actually win it."
