Dallaglio: We owe it to Warren

"I don't believe anyone in the Wasps side at Leicester will have been happy with their performance and now we have an opportunity to earn the right to face Leicester again in the final. The crowd made a big difference at Leicester and I am sure our fans can do the same against Sale."

Wasps' previous two titles have followed the same path to Twickenham and Dallaglio insists his players are aware of the physical and mental challeng e they have to throw down to Sale.

Dallaglio said: "We under-performed against a Leicester side that were coming off the back of two defeats. The match was also the last home game for Martin Johnson, Neil Back and John Wells and there was a lot of emotion around. However, we threw three interception passes for tries and fell off first up tackles that also led to scores.

"Our response has to be a seriously tough and physical performance against Sale. Our game is based on getting that right and against Leicester you have to match or better them in the physical battle. We didn't do that." For Gatland, the challenge is as intense as ever and he is confident the players will be back on track.

Last season they won the European Cup and English league double by dealing with massive games every week in the final month of the season, and a recent two-week break was hard to deal with.

Gatland said: "We are always best when playing big games week after week.

"Taking time off doesn't suit the players and that is why I am confident we will be able to put the Leicester performance behind us against Sale and earn the right to have another crack at Tigers at Twickenham."

Sale were unimpressive while defeating Harlequins 23-22 last weekend to send Quins down. Their lineout fell apart and the players appeared to be thinking ahead to the European Challenge Cup final with Pau on 21 May.

Wasps will hope they show the same consistency tomorrow.
