Daggers to muscle out Burley boys

Ipswich have no idea what is in store for them at Victoria Road tomorrow.

Dagenham & Redbridge, second in the Conference, are convinced they can become the first non-League team to knock a Premiership side out of the FA Cup when they meet in the third round.

Manager Garry Hill suspects his opposite number, George Burley, will have spoken at length to Charlton's Alan Curbishley, whose side needed a replay and extra time to dispose of Daggers last season.

But Hill is still promising a culture shock for the East Anglia side.

"I imagine George Burley spent a lot of time talking to Alan about us. We gave Charlton the fright of their lives. We came within four minutes of knocking them out, before they snatched a late equaliser and won the replay by a goal in extra time.

"So if Burley did not turn to Curbs to find out all he can about us I'll be very surprised, but I'm still not sure if he realises what he will be walking into.

"We will be at them from first whistle to last and won't give them a minute's peace. We will ask them an awful lot of questions and if they are not in absolutely the right frame of mind they will find it difficult to come up with the answers."

Hill has watched struggling Ipswich's last two games - a 5-0 win over Sunderland followed by a 3-2 defeat at Charlton.
