Cygan to replace Toure

Pascal Cygan will be given the chance to revive his Arsenal career against Wolves in the FA Cup on Saturday and is likely to feature in the crunch clash with Manchester United.

Cygan has not played for almost two months following a back injury but with Kolo Toure banned for three matches and Philippe Senedros having picked up a knee injury, the French defender will return to the team.

Arsene Wenger will play Cygan in the fourth-round Cup clash at home to Wolves and is likely to stick with him for Tuesday's game against United at Highbury as Toure and Senderos will still be unavailable.

"Senderos has damaged the medial ligaments in his knee and will be out for three weeks," said Wenger.

As well as the Wolves and United games, Toure will also miss the match at Aston Villa, a week on Saturday as a result of admitting a charge of violent conduct following his clash with Newcastle's Alan Shearer last weekend.

Wenger is set to rest striker Thierry Henry against Wolves but will definitely recall goalkeeper Jens Lehmann for the match.
