The German-born player got more of a chance in their second game, grabbing a wicket in each innings, and he is confident that as the season progresses he will be able to contribute further.
"I'm still waiting to get clicking with the ball but at this time of the year it is hard," he said.
"I'm just waiting in the wings for when it's turning and when they need me to come in and bowl a few tight overs and we'll go from there but there's enough there to do something whether it's beating the outside of the edge this year rather than the inside."
