Fulham have not won on the road since their last trip to Manchester - a 3-1 victory over United in October - and Coleman was highly critical of their display in last week's 2-1 defeat at Chelsea.
He said: "Our away form has been poor, particularly against Chelsea, who I thought were there for the taking. We now have four opportunities in the away games we have left to put things right. It would be disappointing if we finished the season with only three away wins."
Fulham are without Lee Clark (calf), Sylvain Legwinski (foot), Collins John (hamstring), Bobby Petta (groin) and Mark Crossley (back).
Reserve goalkeeper Crossley will be staying with the club despite interest from Nottingham Forest in taking him on loan. Coleman refused to let the Welshman leave and wants to offer him a new contract.
For City, Claudio Reyna (leg) is doubtful but Steve McManaman is fit.
Manchester City v Fulham, City of Manchester Stadium, tomorrow, 3pm.
