Climate of fear delays Ryder Cup

If there were any doubts that the decision to postpone the Ryder Cup was the right one, then the fear and trepidation surrounding today?s resumption of sport in America confirmed that there was no other option.

The University of Michigan have asked that the air space over their 107,000 seat American Football stadium is declared a no-fly zone during games.

An internet poll conducted by a TV network found that 63 per cent of respondents said they would be ?fearful to extremely fearful? about assembling in a large crowd.
