Belgium, who are also in that group, have been pretty average and I have not been impressed by Tunisia.
The Russians may be top of that group, but they have a habit of going missing when the going gets tough.
Beyond that, I would advise against betting on who will lift the World Cup at the end of the month just now.
Last week I tipped Ronaldo and his team-mates at 7-1 and that is still looking good.
But with France struggling, Brazil, Argentina and Italy have become the favourites and you cannot get much better than 7-2 today.
On the evidence so far you would not want to separate those countries and I reckon anyone betting on the eventual winners would be better off waiting until the groups are sorted out.
The odds should not shorten that much if they win their groups and you will have a much better picture then.
One of my other tips was Christian Vieri for tournament top scorer and he has got off to a pretty good start with two goals in his first game.
You can only get 4-1 on him now but I would still take him ahead of German striker Miroslav Klose, at 3-1. He has made the early running with four goals in two games. With Italy playing Croatia tomorrow, Vieri is likely to get a few chances as long as he is not rested.
A better bet would be on Ronaldo for the Golden Boot because his odds have slipped to 6-1 and he has looked pretty sharp.
Also, his team Brazil are bound to get through to the next stage and they have been in their normal attacking mood.
They play China tomorrow and Costa Rica next Thursday, so he should get quite a few chances before the knock-out stage.
