He said: "The FA Cup is our big chance. We seem to be on a roll and luck is on our side maybe, so you never know.
"We have been fortunate to have home draws and, no disrespect to any club, but as long as you are not drawn against the big four then you are in with a good chance.
"A club of our size is not going to win the Premiership but we all want a shot at a medal and the FA Cup is a chance for that.
"It could also be a route into Europe. There are a lot of teams fighting for the European spots in the Premiership and it would not be a bad way, but the cup would be more exciting for us."
Charlton have no injury worries, but striker Kevin Lisbie is suspended.
Leicester expect to have Alan Maybury (flu), Gareth Williams (hamstring) and Danny Tiatto (international duty) back.
