"We have had bad luck with injuries and you have to live with them. Gilberto Silva has been missed and so has Edu. You are bound to miss someone of the quality of Gilberto Silva. He is a World Cup winner."
Silva has not been available since mid-September because of a fractured vertebrae. He went to Brazil for recuperation and returned here last month but it likely to be mid-March at the earliest before he is ready for first-team action.
Edu broke a toe in November and has since decided to quit the club for Valencia in the summer. Hill-Wood added. "We have lost a few games but we are still third in the league. We are in the knock-out stages of the Champions League and we are still in the FA Cup. That is not too bad, is it?"
