Brentford to face Luton in Cup grudge match

Brentford scraped past Hinckley United to set up a grudge match against Luton in the FA Cup third round.

The clubs met in a bad-tempered encounter at Griffin Park last week. The Hatters will now get the chance to avenge that 2-0 defeat on 8 January after goals from Alex Rhodes and Stuart Talbot proved decisive in last night's replay.

Hinckley's Brad Piercewright was dismissed for handling Rhodes' shot in the 52nd minute and the striker converted the resulting penalty. Richard Lavery then equalised for the Conference North side before Ben May set up Talbot for the winner.
