As Woods teed off yesterday at this year's Open, at Muirfield, near Edinburgh, Elin was watching-with his mother Kultida. Despite a warning from his father Earl that marriage might put him off his game, Woods seems to have been inspired by his new love.
So far this year he has won the U.S. Masters and U.S. Open, and has high hopes of becoming the first man in history to hold all four of golf's major titles in one season.
Yesterday, however, he had a frustrating start to his latest campaign.
He managed only a one-under-par 70 and was outshone by his 21-year-old playing partner Justin Rose of England, who shot a 68.
