Although talks over a new contract for Cole have broken down the Frenchman is hoping his show of support will persuade the 24-year-old to sign a new deal.
Wenger is furious that the hearing is taking place in the week of the FA Cup final and Arsenal have asked the Premier League to delay announcing the verdict until after Saturday's showdown.
Chelsea's chief executive Peter Kenyon, manager Jose Mourinho and Cole will all testify at the inquiry, which has to decide whether either party is guilty of inducing the player to break his Arsenal contract.

Stopping clubs from buying and selling during one transfer window would be a severe penalty.

Mourinho will attend the hearing before setting off on a five-day trip to South Korea where the team will play Asian champions Suwon Bluewings.
