"Wes Brown is coming along," said Eriksson. "He had two bad injuries in one year but now he's playing better and better.
"When the time comes I will talk to Wes Brown and I will talk to Sir Alex (Ferguson) as well, so we'll see how his injuries are and how he is progressing.

Brown, though, believes he still has plenty of room for improvement despite his impressive return to form for Manchester United.
Two months after being blamed for United's Premiership collapse and their exit from the Champions League, Brown has emerged mentally unscathed and is producing some of the most assured performances of his career.
He has seven more matches to play, starting with tomorrow's encounter with relegationthreatened Portsmouth, to convince Eriksson he is worth a place in the squad.
"I am getting fitter all the time," he said. "The more games I play, the easier it will get and the more confidence I will have, but I still have to keep improving.
"Continuity at the back is vital and one of the reasons we are doing so well at the moment is that the defence has largely been kept the same."
Meanwhile, United's Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy said he has completely recovered from a knee injury and expects to be fit for tomorrow's match.
