Justin Hoyte will be pushed into central defence by Arsenal tonight if Pascal Cygan fails a fitness test on a back strain.
Arsenal have problems in central defence, with Kolo Toure suspended and Philippe Senderos injured.
Hoyte, usually a right-back, made his Premiership debut this season as a central defender when Cygan pulled up in the warm-up ahead of the game at Norwich in August.
As expected, manager Arsene Wenger will bring back goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, Lauren, Ashley Cole, Robert Pires and Dennis Bergkamp.
The men to drop out will be Jens Lehmann, Emmanuel Eboye, Gael Clichy, Jose Antonio Reyes and Robin van Persie.
