The Hazeltine National Golf Club, the site of Tony Jacklin's 1970 US Open win, was today named as the venue for the 2016 Ryder Cup.
Jacklin became the first British-born golfer in 50 years to win the US Open and the course was also the venue for the late Payne Stewart's success in the same major 11 years ago.
Hazeltine will host this year's and the 2009 US PGA Championship.
Meanwhile, The 2003 Johnnie Walker Classic will be held at Perth's Lake Karrinyup Country Club from 13-16 February, marking the first time the tournament has been played at the same course in consecutive years.
