SportArsenal seal double dealSteve Stammers|Evening Standard14 April 2012Arsenal today completed the signings of Spanish goalkeeper Manuel Almunia and Italian teenager Arturo Lupoli.Almunia, who was on loan with Albacete last season, cost £500,000 from Celta Vigo.Celta still owe Arsenal around £1million following the £3.5m sale of Brazilian full-back Silvinho three years ago and this transfer will half the debt.Almunia, 27, has signed a three-year contract and he will provide experienced cover for German goalkeeper Jens Lehmann.Lupoli played for the successful Parma youth team last season and has signed a two-year scholarship agreement.
