Alleyne gets the all-clear

The county's 25-year-old reserve keeper is halfway through a four-week ban imposed by the Middlesex League, but is available for matches outside the league's jurisdiction - and that includes the £12,000 Sunday knockout tournament for the London area's leading teams.

Alleyne was banned for four matches for disputing an umpire's decision in the league game against Wembley in June. His captain Andy Varley said: "We planned to take our own internal action until we heard the league's decision. Four games is harsh and we certainly weren't going to add to that."

The Hill have been forced to make one change for Sunday. Tony Joseph takes the place of Middlesex Under-19 seam bowler Daniel Kerry, who has a lung infection.

Radlett booked their lasteight place with a four wicket victory over South Hampstead in their raindelayed tie.
