With Fulham and Leyton Orient untroubled by the big end-of-season issues, Brentford can complete London's success story this season by retaining their place in the Second Division.

Last season Arsenal's FA Cup victory was London's solitary triumph. This season the roll of honour in the capital might be a little longer.

ARSENAL

TARGET: The Premiership title
REMAINING FIXTURES: Sun v Tottenham (a), 1 May v Birmingham (h), 4 May v Portsmouth (a), 9 May v Fulham (a), 15 May v Leicester (h).
CHANCES: The Premiership title is all that remains. All? Well, yes. But the fact that Highbury loyalists are disappointed tells you where expectation levels now reside. The Champions League and FA Cup are lost causes but it has been a fabulous, record-breaking season with choirs of angels ready to greet a potential title-clinching performance at Tottenham on Sunday.
KEY PLAYER: Thierry Henry - who else other than the brilliant Frenchman?
VERDICT: Likely

CHARLTON

TARGET: Champions League qualification
FIXTURES: Tomorrow v Man United (a), Sat v Fulham (a), 1 May v Leicester (h), 8 May v Leeds (a), 15 May v Southampton (h)
CHANCES: I hope Charlton prove me wrong and win a Euro place because no one deserves it more than Alan Curbishley who has been the manager of the decade at the shoestring budget end of the Premiership. But he faces a daunting conclusion to the season, starting at Old Trafford tomorrow.

With relegation-threatened Leicester and Leeds still to play, points will be hard to get.
KEY PLAYER: Matt Holland, who epitomises the work ethic at Charlton.
VERDICT: Possible

CHELSEA

TARGET: European Cup and second in Premiership
FIXTURES: Tomorrow v Monaco (a, CL s-final), Sun v Newcastle (a), 1 May v So'ton (h), 5 May v Monaco, 8 May v Man Utd (a), 15 May v Leeds (h)
CHANCES: For Ranieri groupies, such a 'double' would be almost too good to be true. The embarrassment potential for the Stamford Bridge politburo is high because, despite the threat to his job, Ranieri's season has been spectacular. Euro supremacy is a possibility but Chelsea's recent poor run means that the 8 May visit to Old Trafford may decide runners-up spot.
KEY PLAYER: Frank Lampard, the season's most consistent English midfield player.
VERDICT: Possible

TOTTENHAM

TARGET: Premiership survival with dignity
FIXTURES: Sun v Arsenal (h), 2 May v Aston Villa (a), 8 May v Blackburn (h), 15 May v Wolves (a).
CHANCES: Woe! One point from six games has cast relegation gloom over this part of north London though only Tottenham's most depressive fans would consider this a real threat. Three more points might be enough to guarantee safety and although Arsenal won't be sympathetic on Sunday, the final game against Wolves, who will be relegated by then, could provide an escape route.
KEY PLAYER: Jermain Defoe (five goals from 10 games) won't want to go down again.
VERDICT: Likely

CRYSTAL PALACE

TARGET: First Division play-offs
REMAINING: Wed v Sunderland (h), Sat v Crewe (a), 1 May v Walsall (h), 9 May v Coventry (a)
CHANCES: Crystal Palace's revival under Iain Dowie has generated enough momentum this season to push them into play-off contention, but they've left it late and could need three wins from their final four games to finish in the top six of Division One. Three points at home against fellow play-off contenders Sunderland on Wednesday would be a great way to start.
KEY PLAYER: Andy Johnson, whose goalscoring prowess could make the difference.
VERDICT: Unlikely

MILLWALL

TARGET: First Division play-offs and FA Cup Final
FIXTURES: Tomorrow v Watford (h), Sat v Reading (h), 1 May v Derby (a), 9 May v Bradford (h), 22 May v Man Utd (FA Cup Final)
CHANCES: Hard to face reality when you're in the FA Cup Final for the first time, but Dennis Wise has to convince his team that a Premiership place, and regular matches with the likes of Manchester United, outweighs all other considerations. There are four games still to play, but the last home match against relegated Bradford might just give them the edge.
KEY PLAYER: Tim Cahill, instigator of so much that is good for Millwall.
VERDICT: Likely

WATFORD

TARGET: First Division survival
FIXTURES: Tomorrow v Millwall (a), Sat v Norwich (h), 1 May v West Ham (a), 9 May v Reading (h).
CHANCES: Last season 47 points proved enough to keep you up, but Watford already have 51 and are, incredibly, still not safe. The Hornets could need two more wins to guarantee Division One survival this term and it's going to be a tough call because their final four games are all against promotion hopefuls - Millwall, Norwich, West Ham and Reading.
KEY PLAYER: Heidar Helguson, a top striker whose goals will be needed when he returns from injury.
VERDICT: Likely

WEST HAM

TARGET: First Division play-offs
FIXTURES: Sat v Stoke (a), 1 May v Watford (h), 9 May v Wigan (a)
CHANCES: Largely rebuilt by manager Alan Pardew this season following relegation last term, West Ham still lack consistency and defensive discipline. After three games without a win they rediscovered their goal-scoring touch against Coventry on Saturday but their fate may remain unknown until the final game of the season - which is a potentially difficult away tie against fellow play-off rivals Wigan.
KEY PLAYER: Marlon Harewood, a critical figure in the absence of David Connolly.
VERDICT: Possible

BRENTFORD

TARGET: Second Division survival
FIXTURES: Sat v Wycombe (h), 1 May v Grimsby (a), 8 May v Bournemouth (h)
CHANCES: Unbeaten in six games since Martin Allen took over from Barnet, this rejuvenated Brentford side will need to maintain their excellent momentum against fellow Division Two strugglers Grimsby as well as play-off outsiders Bournemouth. But Saturday's home game against Tony Adams's relegated Wycombe should provide three valuable points and boost their disastrous goal difference.
KEY PLAYER: 'Mad Dog' Martin Allen, whose dressing room influence has restored confidence and belief.
VERDICT: Likely

QPR

TARGET: Automatic promotion to Division One
FIXTURES: Sat v Plymouth (a), 1 May v Swindon (h), 8 May v Sheffield Wednesday (a).
CHANCES: In the top three since September and beaten only once in the league since January, Queens Park Rangers look set to make up for last season's play-off disappointment by securing automatic promotion this season. But they must remain focused because two of the last three games are against leaders Plymouth and play-off contenders Swindon.
KEY PLAYER: Kevin Gallen, a consistent attacking influence in QPR's promotion bid.
VERDICT: Likely
